Discovery Table - Mountain Lions

Stop by the Discovery Table in the lobby of the Visitor Center anytime between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. and learn about mountain lions' size, range, lifestyle, and place in the food chain from MTRP Trail Guides. See if you can correctly answer questions about their behavior. Learn about sightings in MTRP and create your own full-size mountain lion track stamp to take home.

Discovery tables are set up on the second Saturday of every month and some holidays at the Visitor Center and on selected Saturdays during the summer at Kumeyaay Lake Campground. Tables feature hands-on activities and take-home materials for kids and adults. Topics vary month-to-month.
