Discovery Table - Plant Parts
Stop by the Discovery Table in the lobby of the Visitor Center anytime between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. to learn about plant parts from MTRP Trail Guides. See if you can correctly match the name and job of each plant part to its photo. Identify the plant of some common foods. Also, discover what's inside of seeds!
Discovery tables are set up on the second Saturday of every month and some holidays at the Visitor Center and on selected Saturdays during the summer at Kumeyaay Lake Campground. Tables feature hands-on activities and take-home materials for kids and adults. Topics vary month-to-month.
