Guided Bird Walk - Oak Grove Loop
Join MTRP bird walk leaders for a guided bird walk on the Oak Grove Loop Trail. A variety of habitats gives us the opportunity to see resident and migratory birds. We’ll stay alert for hawks that like to frequent this area. Meet in front of the Visitor Center. Bring binoculars if you have them. Wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes, and bring along water. A hat and sunscreen are also recommended. Walks are canceled if raining. Upcoming Bird Walks:
- November 21 – Oak Grove Loop. Meet in front of the Visitor Center.
- December 18 – Lake Murray, Northwest Side. Meet on the northwest side of the lake. After entering at Murray Park Dr. and Belle Glade Ave., proceed along the driveway past a set of ballfields on your right and turn into the paved parking lot on your right.
- December 19 – Lake Murray, Northwest Side. Meet on the northwest side of the lake. After entering at Murray Park Dr. and Belle Glade Ave., proceed along the driveway past a set of ballfields on your right and turn into the paved parking lot on your right.
