Stargazing and Night Hike with Women in the Wild

When the sky is full of stars, moonlit paths take on a creepy hue - the perfect shade for seeking out nighttime critters like bats and scorpions. That’s what you can experience if you arrive on time for our Star Party! We kick things off with a short and optional ranger-led twilight hike.

Back at the staging area, amateur astronomers set out giant telescopes to share different vantage points of stellar phenomenon above for a truly out-of-this-world experience. Dress warm and bring a flashlight (red- or amber-light preferred).

All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Cloud cover or inclement weather may cancel. Call Ranger Kyle ahead for weather status or if you're lost: (858) 699-8668.

This event is FREE. Parking is limited so come early, carpool, and park along the driveway if the lot is full.

For general park information, call (619) 561-0580.
